Mailchimp is a very popular ESP. They’re robust template selection and ease of use, and large list of integrations is largely responsible for their massive user base. They are a self-proclaimed “marketing automation” platform, but their automation serives have much to be desired compared to the tools found in the marketing automation section. However, as far as email tools go, MailChimp is one of my favorites.

Emma is a good email marketing options should you be looking for simplicity. The simplicity is not so much in the features as it is in the designed. Their UI is easy to understand and quick to adapt. However, they are are more pricey than other options we’ve mentioned.

Constant Contact also provides extremely high levels of customer service included with your subscription.

Trello is half project management half collaboration. Trello allows you to track projects and tasks using “Cards”. The user interface is very clean and easy to understand. There is relatively limited options for layout but can be used very effectively by teams or individuals to track progress and collaborate on tasks. There is also a free version available which is always a plus when getting your feet wet.

Asana is a project management tools for teams and individuals. It allows you to track projects, tasks, conversations, Kanban boards and more. The user interface is probably the cleanest we’ve found with Trello being a close rival. Asana is also great because it’s free up to 15 team members.
